About this procedure
Main Requirements
Necessary conditions to obtain the authorization of Stay for Studies.
Admission to Study Center
Proof of enrollment or official acceptance in an authorized training program must be provided.
Economic Means
They must demonstrate financial capacity to cover the stay, lodging and studies during the requested period.
Medical Insurance
It is mandatory to have health insurance valid in Spain for at least 1 year.
Criminal Record
Certificate of Criminal Record duly apostilled and valid for less than 3 months.
Application Procedure

Admission to the Study Center
The applicant obtains the letter of acceptance from an authorized educational institution in Spain.

Application Preparation and Submission
The required documentation is gathered and the application for a visa or stay for study purposes is submitted to the corresponding authority.

Visa Resolution and Granting
The Administration reviews the file and, if it meets the requirements, authorizes the stay for studies.
04.
Obtaining a Residence Card (TIE)
Once granted, a Foreigners' Identity Card (TIE) is issued, which allows you to live legally in Spain.
Terms and Duration
The visa is granted for the duration of the studies and can be renewed or modified depending on the student's situation.
