Sufficient Financial Means
Demonstrate €2,600 per month for one year.
Private Medical Insurance
It is mandatory to have a valid health insurance in Spain, with no co-payments or deductibles.
Apostilled Criminal Records
Present an apostilled criminal record less than 3 months old.
Requirements
Whoever has sufficient economic means without the need to work in Spain.
Terms and Duration
Time of concession and possibility of renewal.
Application Submission
The application must be submitted from the country of origin.
Duration of the Process
The process usually takes between 3 and 6 months.
Duration of Residency
Residency is granted for one year, with the possibility of renewal or modification.
Application Procedure

Preliminary Evaluation of Requirements
The applicant is checked to ensure that he/she meets the necessary conditions before starting the process.

Presentation of the Application at the Consulate
The dossier is prepared and the application is submitted from the country of origin to the corresponding Consulate.
03.
Resolution and Award
Once the file has been approved, a visa is granted allowing entry to Spain as a non-profit resident.
04.
Obtaining a Residence Card (TIE)
Upon arrival in the country, a Foreigner's Identity Card (TIE) is requested to formalize legal residence.
